DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating after a teen sustained life-threatening injuries from a shooting Saturday night.

Just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 14, officers were called to the 4000 block of Shane Trail. Upon their arrival, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot.
The teen was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for his life-threatening injuries.

According to DKPD, the 16-year-old was involved in an argument with a known suspect in the 3400 block of Flat Shoals Road. Detectives responded to the scene to investigate further.
No other details were released. The investigation is ongoing.
Police did not release the teen’s identity and did not say if any arrests were made.
