Police identified the man who was killed as Marvin Jackson, 27.
Jackson’s friends and family members stopped by Wednesday afternoon to add items to a small memorial.
Investigators do not believe the shooting was random. They do not plan to charge the men who shot and killed Hickman because they were protecting themselves.
Homicide detectives pulled surveillance video to confirm the wounded victims’ accounts of what happened.
This was the second fatal shooting at a metro Atlanta gas station in less than 24 hours. Police said a rideshare driver shot and killed a passenger and wounded another passenger at a Chevron on Monroe Drive early Wednesday morning.
