CLARKSTON, Ga. — Police say several items found inside an SUV stolen with a 1-year-old boy inside don’t belong to the child’s family.
Police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the items in hopes of finding the suspects.
Blaise Barnett was abducted when his family’s SUV was stolen outside a Clarkston apartment complex last week.

The SUV was found outside the Brannon Hill Condominiums in Clarkston the next day.

The child was found alive inside a car at a home near the police station on Thursday. He has since been reunited with his family.
When the SUV was recovered and processed at GBI headquarters, agents found a pair of distinctive jean shorts, a blue Altee speaker and a black plastic bag they said do not belong to the victims.

Investigators said they believe the items belonged to the suspect or suspects.
No arrests have been made in the baby’s abduction or the car theft.
Two cousins of the child’s father were arrested after they shot and killed a man at the Brannon Hall Condominiums during the frantic search for Blaise. Both face murder charges.
