Deputies and marshals went to the Covington Glen apartments to arrest Beadle.
When they arrived, the GBI said Beadle ran out of his apartment and pulled a handgun. The deputy shot Beadle, who was taken to a hospital.
Beadle remains in the hospital. The GBI did not release his condition. No deputies or marshals were hurt.
Channel 2 Action News has reached out to Chamblee police for more information on the murder Beadle is being charged with.
