The initiative, Seamless Summer Option Program, will provide nutritious breakfast and lunch meals at no cost to parents or guardians now through July 22, the district said.

“Studies show that nutritious meals impact a student’s well-being and academic performance. Those needs don’t end just because the school year does,” said Dr. Connie R. Walker, DCSD’s Executive Director of School Nutrition Services.
