DeKalb police said the investigation started when they received a tip that Rogers was engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with minors he met online.

An affidavit indicated that Rogers had devices with hundreds of images of nude children, some involved in sexually explicit conduct.

The documents go on to say some of the children were identified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited children.

Jones went to Rogers’ home Tuesday. He knocked but no one answered. Neighbors told Jones that officers left Rogers’ home Monday with computers and other items.

Rogers will soon go before a judge where he will hear the charges he faces.
