Dekalb County school board members gathered for the first time Monday afternoon since receiving a letter from Woods suggesting they continue their leadership with interim superintendent Dr. Vasanne Tinsley, instead of going with their finalist Dr. Devon Horton.
Monday’s regular scheduled meeting and workshop did not include any mention of the superintendent controversy.
But board members spent nearly three hours in an executive session on Monday and it’s unclear what they discussed.
Channel 2 Action News was there as board members walked out and asked if they had made a decision.
