DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A home in DeKalb County was shot dozens of times on Tuesday morning, and the woman inside believes it’s because her son got into a fight at school.
The incident made for some frightening moments for the four kids alone inside the home on Overlook Avenue just before 10 a.m.
An 11-year-old girl, with her mother’s permission, explained to Channel 2′s Tom Jones how dangerously close a bullet came to hurting one of her siblings.
“One came close to my sister, but she ducked,” she said.
A neighbor showed Jones doorbell video where you can hear gunmen firing multiple shots into a home.

Their mother, who didn’t want to be identified, says it was frightening.
Jones asked her if she thought the gunmen were trying to kill her family.
“Of course, they shot 25 times in the house,” she responded.
There are bullet holes all over her home, most of are which are in the upper level of the home.
NewsChopper 2 captured police on scene and several evidence markers in the street.
The mother says it happened right after she left home with her 14-year-old son.
“We left at 9:45. My daughter was calling me at 9:52 screaming in the phone,” the girl said.

Her 11-year-old daughter says the shooting sent her and her siblings running.
“It was like gunshots going all through all over the house,” she described.
The mother believes the shooters were retaliating against her 14-year-old son because of something that happened at school.
“He got into a fight. They jumped on him at school.”
She says she is fortunate no one was hurt in the shooting. The mother says police told her they have a pretty good idea who fired all those shots.
“They got Ring cameras so they gonna get to the bottom of it,” she told Jones.
The neighbor who showed Jones doorbell video of the shooting asked him not to air it.
