Director of daycare where 2 employees were charged with child abuse is now also facing charges

CLARKSTON, Ga. — The director of a local daycare where two workers are accused of abusing a child now faces charges as well.

Angela Moore faces failure to report suspected child abuse.

That’s after two workers at the First Baptist Academy Daycare in Clarkston were charged with first degree child abuse.

Detectives say they watched surveillance video that showed the abuse of a 3-year-old boy.

Channel 2 Action News attempted to contact the daycare to get Moore’s side of the story.

Someone with the church said they couldn’t comment but said Moore was no longer associated with the daycare.
