Double shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 critical after fight at DeKalb convenience store

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating a double shooting that has left a man dead and another person in critical condition.

Investigators said they were called out the Food Mart convenience store in the 3800 block of Flat Shoals Parkway around 8:30 p.m.

Officers said there was a fight outside the convenience store, and someone began shooting.

One person was taken into custody. Another shooting victim was taken to a nearby hospital where they remain in critical condition.
