DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Hazmat crews were called out to the IRS office in DeKalb County.
DeKalb Fire says emergency crews were called out around 2 p.m. to investigate a suspicious package that was reported in the mail room of the IRS offices in the 4800 block of Buford Highway.
The building was evacuated while emergency crews worked to figure out if the package was harmful or not.
After testing the package, DeKalb Fire said they found a powdery substance that turned out to be sodium carbonate, nothing harmful.
