DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead early Thursday morning.
Officers say they were called to a home on Hallwood Court off of Young Road just after 5 a.m. where they found a man who had been shot and killed.

That man’s identity has not been released, but police say he is likely in his 30s.
Investigators say the man was having an argument with the suspect before the shooting.
An investigator on the scene told Channel 2′s Steve Gehlbach that a woman was being detained for questioning. It’s unclear if she is the suspect police say was involved in the argument.

Neighbors told Gehlbach they didn’t hear any gunshots overnight, but several people live in the home, including small children.
The road leading into the neighborhood was opened back up just after 11 a.m.
