DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Police Department has identified the victim in a homicide that occurred at an apartment complex on Saturday.
Police say they responded to Peachtree Creek Circle just after 6 p.m. Saturday evening to a person shot call. When they arrived, they found 50-year-old Cedric Maxwell near the area of the pool with multiple gunshot wounds.
The address corresponds to the Arium Peachtree Creek Apartment complex.

Maxwell died on scene, police said.
Police arrested 31-year-old Dario Howell without incident and said he and Maxwell had a dispute over money before the shooting occurred. Officials say both men were familiar with one another.

Howell has been charged with felony murder and aggravated assault and is currently within the DeKalb County Jail.
