While investigating, they learned a man had an active arrest warrant for assault. While trying to arrest him, the man, whose identity has not been released, broke free and hid.
The man can be heard in a released body camera video saying he never assaulted anyone before breaking away from the officer.
Police sent a drone into the ceiling to see if he was hiding there. It found him in a corner of the ceiling that appeared to be above the men’s restroom.
