DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A movie is filming across the street from Perimeter Mall and it could affect traffic in the congested area.
The movie, "Baby Driver," stars Jamie Foxx, Jon Hamm and Kevin Spacey.
The production crew will temporarily hold traffic on Ashford-Dunwoody Road on Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to shoot a bank robbery scene.
“All I heard from my home association is that they’re going to halt traffic while everything is taking place. They really didn’t give any alternate routes or anything like that,” Dunwoody resident Taylor Bowles said.
The Dunwoody police chief says traffic will be held for two to three minutes each time.

“If it happens during the lunch hour, it’s really going to cram things up,” Bowles said.
Triple Team Traffic Reporter Doug Turnbull has some alternate routes for if you need to drive in the Dunwoody area.
“If it’s going to be blocked in the morning, all morning, right before lunch, use Peachtree-Dunwoody Road or Chamblee-Dunwoody as some alternates, but your best bet is simply to avoid the area. It’s going to be a mess,” he said.
Even with the concerns about traffic, many people are excited to have movie stars in the area. Many people are gathering nearby to try to catch a glimpse of the action.
“So Bloomington, Illinois, is where I came from, small town in the middle of corn fields and you don’t get this,” Jim Knippenberg said.
Dunwoody police will be on hand to help drivers get around closures.
