METRO ATLANTA — Witnesses say at least one person is dead in a crash that shut down I-285 near the Glenwood Road exit for several hours Saturday morning.
Channel 2 reporter Kristen Holloway spoke with the man who said he saw the crash close up. The witness told Holloway he saw at least one if not two victims in the crash that left one car almost totally destroyed.

The crash is one of several on Metro Atlanta roads Saturday morning. Georgia DOT reported I-20 East, heading towards Atlanta was shut down in Carroll County after a crash on the interstate just before Exit 14.
I-20 was shut down for several hours while first responders cleared the highway.

Atlanta Police responded to a crash around 5:30 a.m. on I-20 between Martin Luther King Jr. exit and Langhorn Street involving at least two cars. All lanes there were shut down for a couple of hours, the highway opened back up shortly after 7 a.m.
