DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County Police arrested a man they said killed a relative Saturday afternoon.
Officials say at 2 p.m., they responded to the 4400 block of Parmalee Path in Conley in reference to a person shot call.

When they arrived, they found a man in his 40s dead from a gunshot wound.
Police said it appears the two individuals were familiar to one another and a previous dispute possibly escalated, leading to the shooting.

Channel 2 Action News has learned the family member accused in the shooting will be charged with murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
