BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Police in Brookhaven are searching for a driver who seriously injured a person in a hit-and-run crash Sunday evening.

Around 6:10 p.m., Brookhaven officers were called to reports of a person hit by a vehicle in the 3600 block of Buford Highway.
When police arrived, they determined the incident was a hit-and-run.
According to BPD, the driver of the vehicle left the scene.

The victim was taken to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries. The victim’s age and identity were not released.
The investigation is ongoing.
