DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a triple shooting inside an apartment that killed one person and injured two others in DeKalb County.
The shooting happened late Wednesday night. DeKalb County police got a call of shots fired at the Oak Forest Apartments on Hatton Drive.
When officers showed up they found three people shot.
The shooting happened inside a downstairs unit.

Detectives said the gunman forced his way inside.
“We believe somebody kicked in the front door and began firing a weapon into the apartment,” Lt. Shane Stanfield with the DeKalb County Police Department said.
Crime scene technicians took pictures where bullets pierced through the window.
Detectives said a number of people were inside the apartment including young children.
Police said the motive for the shooting may be drug-related.
