DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 285 Thursday morning.
DeKalb County dispatchers confirmed to Channel 2 Action News the shooting happened on I-285 northbound at the I-20 eastbound ramp.
Police said this shooting was not the result of road rage. The victim is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Investigators believe the victim got into an argument with the suspects at a nearby business before he drove off. That is when the man, who is in his 30s, was shot.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact DeKalb detectives.
This is the latest interstate shooting in metro Atlanta this week. On Wednesday, Cobb County police responded to a truck driver who was shot multiple times on Interstate 75.
