DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A pregnant woman who police said filmed a vicious attack that left another 19-year-old girl unconscious has turned herself in, police said.

DeKalb police are still searching for one more teen involved in the brawl that happened July 2 on Memorial Drive. The victim was kicked, punched and briefly knocked out but is expected to recover in the hospital, police say.

The video of the fight between four girls originally circulated on social media and has gone viral.

"They were kicking her in the head, multiple times," Shiera Campbell with the DeKalb County Police Department said.

Channel 2's Audrey Washington was at the police department when authorities released photos of two teen girls, who they said were still on the run Wednesday morning.

Veronica Gant, who allegedly filmed the video, turned herself in to authorities Wednesday afternoon. A family member contacted DeKalb police after seeing Gant on the news and agreed to have the suspect turn herself in.

Two other suspects had already turned themselves in.

The third teen in the video is on the run, police said. They have identified her as Tyees Lashay Roberts.

Police said the vicious assault was all over a boy. They said the victim had been there to confront one of the suspects but had no idea two more would jump in.

At one point, the victim was knocked unconscious. Police told Washington that instead of helping, Gant kept recording the fight while the other girls stole the victim's shoes and cellphone.

A good Samaritan broke up the brawl. The victim is expected to recover.

“If it had not been for the good Samaritan who came over to stop the ladies, we don’t know what would have happened to her," Campbell said.

Police arrested Kiarra Walton on aggravated assault and robbery charges. Her twin sister, Keana Walton, turned herself in on Tuesday.

Police believe Roberts is still in the area and ask for anyone who has more information to call 678-937-5351. Callers will remain anonymous.
