STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Stone Mountain Park’s annual ‘Snow Mountain’ attraction has been canceled for the 2022-2023 season, according to the park’s website.
Park officials say they are focusing on expanding their other Christmas attractions, like a brand new drone light show and their Christmas light show.
They say all of these attractions take place on Memorial Lawn, which is the same place ‘Snow Mountain’ is held.

‘Snow Mountain’ offered park-goers the chance to enjoy some “snow” down south despite the warm temperatures.
Typically, the Memorial Lawn, the hill in front of the mountain’s iconic, but controversial, carving, would be covered in snow for tubing down slopes. The park also featured snowman and s’more making stations around the park.
