DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta fire department said no matter how small, it will rescue them all, including the fur babies.

Over the weekend, DeKalb County firefighters and Animal Control teamed up to save Jax, a six to eight-week-old puppy.
According to officials, Jax fell 10 feet down a narrow four to six-inch sewer drain pipe.

But, with determination, a utility rope, and a little peanut butter, fire crews safely rescued Jax.
The fire department shared a photo of the pup surrounded by its rescuers on Facebook.
“Thank you to everyone involved for reminding us that every life matters—no matter how small,” the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department said.
