DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — One person is dead after four cars crashed into one another on I-285 early Saturday morning.
The interstate was shut down for several hours after the 6:15 a.m. crash at I-285WB and Peachtree Blvd.
When DeKalb police arrived, they say they found one of the drivers dead.

Investigators say a car crashed into a disabled vehicle in the roadway.
It’s unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash or if anyone will face charges.

On Saturday, Georgia State Patrol officials said at least 21 people have been killed and multiple have been injured in crashes across the state over the holiday travel period.
The conditions and identities of all of the victims have not been released.
All of the crashes remain under investigation.
