DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police confirmed that three people, including a baby, were hurt in a crash that shut down Interstate 85 for hours on Friday.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields first reported on the crash near Shallowford Road on Channel 2 Action News This Morning.

NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene and spotted at least two cars involved in the crash.
On Friday afternoon, police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that three people were transported to a hospital: baby in critical condition and two adults with non-life threatening injuries.
The victims’ names have not been released.

Police shut down all lanes of I-85 northbound while they investigated.
It’s unclear what led to the crash or if anyone is facing any charges.
The interstate reopened around 10 a.m.
