News Chopper 2 flew above the home just before sunrise.
The fire started in the garage on the far right, caught two cars in the driveway on fire, and quickly spread to the rest of the house.
DeKalb Fire Captain Jaeson Daniels told Gehlbach the firefighters were injured while inside the home.
“They made entry through the front door, making their way down the hallway. That’s when three firefighters were hurt. They were all able to make it out on their own, but all three suffered burns,” Daniels said.
The three injured firefighters received moderately severe burns and were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
