DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a triple shooting near a busy shopping center in DeKalb County.
It happened on Fairington Road in Lithonia around 5 p.m. Sunday.
"An officer heard some gunshots as he was patrolling the area right here on Fairington Road," Lithonia Police Capt. Danny Jordan said.
As the officer investigated, police said he spotted a car speeding out of a store parking lot.
"As he got the vehicle stopped a little ways down Fairington Road, he observed two males inside the vehicle that were shot," Jordan said.

As the officer worked to help the two men shot, police said they got word of another man found shot in the same shopping plaza.
All three were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive.
The investigation now turns to which of the three are victims and which are suspects.
"The investigation is still ongoing at this point. Were still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting," Jordan said.
