DEKALB COUNTY — A truck hauling cars caught fire on the I-285 ramp to I-85 in DeKalb County Monday afternoon, shutting down multiple lanes and producing a huge plume of black smoke.
Fire officials said multiple cars on the truck went up in flames near the Pleasantdale Road exit.

Georgia Department of Transportation video showed at least fully-engulfed vehicle with black smoke billowing. There were at least five firetrucks at the scene.
Officials did not say how the fire started or how long lanes will be shut down.
All lanes had opened by 4:30 p.m.
