DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A four-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed himself in a car in a parking lot Sunday night, DeKalb police said.
The victim was inside a car in the Publix parking lot on Panola Road with an infant and a 13-year-old relative around 5 p.m. His mother was inside the store when the child, identified as Miyell Hernandez, accidentally shot himself with a gun that was inside the car. The 13-year-old immediately ran inside the business for help. The child was taken to the hospital, where he died.

No one else was injured, and no one has been charged.
