TUCKER, Ga. — A city in DeKalb County is urging businesses to have a working alarm system after thieves went on a break-in spree.

According to the city of Tucker, two businesses on Tucker’s Main Street were victims of break-ins by the same crew.
The city applauded The Corner Cup Coffee and Nicky’s Undefeated for their foresight and for installing an alarm system, cameras, and external lighting, all of which were recommended by police.

Within four minutes, DeKalb County police showed up at the scene, the city says.
Surveillance video shows the crew quickly breaking into Nicky’s Undefeated. The crew got away before the police arrived.
The city thanked the police department and reminded business owners to invest in preventative measures to protect themselves.
“We urge our other businesses to take similar steps to protect themselves and the Tucker community,” the city of Tucker said.
