DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County officials say a stack of tires caught fire at the old Atlanta prison farm, which sent a large plume of thick black smoke into the air, seen for miles across the city of Atlanta.
The old Atlanta prison farm is located in the 1500 block of Key Road off of Moreland Avenue in DeKalb County. The property is currently vacant.

Officials have not said how the fire started at this point, but no one has been hurt.
