DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man is thanking the DeKalb fire department for rescuing his cat that was caught in a fire.
Scott Cartwright was in his residence at the Sanctuary at Oglethorpe apartments off Ashford-Dunwoody Road when firefighters banged on his door and told him to get out.
Caldwright explains he grabbed his dogs, but wasn’t able to find his cat, Lewis, who often hides behind the couch.
