GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Gwinnett County man was arrested after apparently losing his cool at a car dealership and firing shots.
No one was hurt, but several cars were damaged.
The Pars Cars dealership on Satellite Boulevard was closed Monday after the drama-filled morning. Employees were sent home for the day.
That disgruntled customer fired several shots out here in front of the business, police said.

“For some reason he thought they would take a return,” said Cpl. Ryan Winderweedle.
Gwinnett police charged 26-year-old Kenneth Cockrell for the crime.
Witnesses said Cockrell was unhappy he couldn’t return a car he’d just bought over the weekend. After some yelling, he returned to that same car, grabbed a 9-millimeter handgun and went back inside. Police said he waived it around, then came outside again and opened fire.
Three cars were damaged. One Corvette had a window shot out.
Officers were already on the way to the scene and grabbed Cockrell a few blocks away on Satellite Boulevard.

“He was upset that the business would not return his deposit and take the car back. They tried to explain to him that was company policy and that it was part of the deal when he purchased the car but for some reason he thought they’d take the car,” Winderweedle said.
The manager told Channel 2′s Tony Thomas that Cockrell was looking for him inside but couldn’t find him.
