DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Police have made three arrests and searching for a fourth suspect in connection with the shooting death of a teen at Douglas County rental home.
The shooting happened early on Dec. 31 at a rental home property located on Deering Drive in Douglasville. A 15-year-old boy died from his gunshot wounds.
The Douglasville Police Department held news conference on the investigation Tuesday morning to announce the charges.

Police said Davion White, 20, was arrested and charged with murder and other charges. Zorree Peeples, 18, and Karea Cowvins, 17, were charged with aggravated assault.
Police said they are still looking for Jhabre Wilson, 17, who is wanted on murder charges. Investigators said that White is known to hang out in Fulton and Cobb counties and should be considered armed and dangerous.
“All of these charges are going to be gang-related charges,” Douglasville police chief Gary Sparks said.

A representative from the victim’s family spoke at a news conference.
“The pain that we feel is unspeakable. It is something that no parent or sibling should ever have to endure,” Maxwell Billeon said. “Our baby boy is gone and there is nothing that can change that.”

Police said the four suspects attended a New Year’s Party at the home. Detectives said two of them began firing toward the house as the four drove away. The gunshots hit and killed the 15-year-old.
Video shows teens running and screaming as they tried to get out of harm’s way.
Neighbors said some of the scared teens even knocked on their doors to try to get away.
“It was chaos. It was awful,” one neighbor said.
Sparks said his officers identified the occupants of the car within a few days.
The family is urging the public to be on the lookout for Wilson and call police if you have any information.
