Police searching for missing woman last seen at Walmart

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Douglasville police are searching for a missing 47-year-old woman who was last seen at Walmart last week.

Investigators say Christy Curtis Newton was last seen at the store on 7001 Concourse Parkway just after noon on Thursday.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

Christy is 5′7′', weighs 135 pounds and has short blond hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a navy Thomasville Fire Dept. sweatshirt.
