DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Dunwoody police have arrested a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and her mother and injuring another family member.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the entrance of the Dunwoody Glen Apartments off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
The victims have been identified as Crystal Williams, 22, and her mother Danyel Sims, 46. Williams’ brother 18-year-old Malachi who was shot is recovering at a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested 23-year-old Justin Turner. He is currently charged with two counts of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Police said the family had been traveling together in an SUV and pulling out of the complex when Williams’ ex-boyfriend Turner cut off the SUV with his car.
Multiple shots were fired before police said Turner left the scene. Officers arrived and located Crystal Williams, Sims and Malachi Williams on the ground with gunshot wounds.
A fourth family member in the car was unharmed.
