Early voting for runoff elections, including Atlanta mayoral race, begins today

ATLANTA — Early voting kicks off Wednesday for the 2021 runoff elections, including the race to decide Atlanta’s next mayor.

City Council President Felicia Moore and Council Member Andre Dickens are facing off in the Atlanta mayoral runoff. Moore finished the first round of voting on Nov. 2 with 41% while Dickens earned the second runoff spot with 23%. He finished ahead of former Mayor Kasim Reed.

Early voting runs through Nov. 24 ahead of the Nov. 30 runoff. In Fulton County, early voting is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through next week, including Saturday and Sunday voting this weekend. A full list of early voting locations can be found here.

In DeKalb County, the polls are open for early voters from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. A full list of early voting locations can be found here.

  • South Fulton mayor: Incumbent Bill Edwards versus. councilman Khalid Kamau
