ATLANTA — Grab your warmest blankets tonight, because a Freeze Warning has been issued for parts of North Georgia.
The warning goes into effect at midnight and lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday for Lumpkin, Union, Towns, White, Fannin counties.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologists will track exactly how cold it'll get in your neighborhood starting at 4 on Channel 2 Action News.
A breeze begins picking up from the east and northeast Saturday afternoon. Most areas will be cloudy, damp and cool on Sunday.
Temperatures Sunday will be cool, with highs only in the 40s in northeast Georgia and 50s elsewhere.
The sunshine and temperatures in the 60s will return on Monday.
