MARIETTA, Ga. — Marietta police say they were called out to the Allgood Road bridge that goes over Interstate 75 around 7 p.m. Wednesday after they received multiple reports of cars being damaged as they drove under the bridge.
Police said they initially thought the debris may have been parts of the bridge breaking off, but they quickly got the bridge was inspected and determined that was not the case.
Police did have a report that someone may have been throwing chunks of concrete from the bridge. Although there was property damage, no one was seriously injured.
