ATLANTA — The reward to find a dog stolen from a car is growing.
A family said someone broke into their car, along with other cars, and took their dog.

Castillo said time is of the essence to get him back.
“A 3-year-old Pug that has heart conditions. He’s on two different medications, he won’t do well,” said Marc Castillo.
Castillo said they left the dog park in Buckhead Village Friday night around 10:30. They put his dog in his car, locked it and walked across the street to get some dinner. When they returned, they realized somebody stole Puck.
They were parked along the street when the thieves broke into three of those cars, but he says he believe his car was targeted and it takes a lot more effort to get inside.
“My car has double painted glass, so it wasn’t simple to break the glass. They literally had to crow bar the window out of the door frame. They saw the dog and made him a target,” said Castillo.

Castillo said they called police.
“They did find some fingerprints on it and that’s going to take a couple of days to process. I know that dog napping is on the rise and we all need to be more vigilant. I was in visual sight of my car and it still happened. It happened so fast and it can happen to any of us,” said Castillo.
Now, they are asking for help.
“We’re asking anybody who has information on him or the people who took him see this, please drop him off at a PAWS or a Fulton County Animal Shelter or Castillo at 404-449-6862,” said Castillo.
