DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — A fatal crash shut down Interstate 20 eastbound in Douglas County for several hours Sunday.
Police say a Dodge Durango overturned just after 3 p.m. Sunday near the Lee Road exit.
Police say one person was killed in the crash. Four others with serious injuries were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Two others injured were taking to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Police say a total of eight people were in the car at the time of the crash. The driver was not hurt.
The Douglas County coroner identified the fatality as being Corey Hart. His age was not given at the time.
The interstate was shut down between Lee Road and Countyline Road.
