On Thursday morning, the Lincoln County’s Sheriff Office said that the pair was found in Jackson County, Georgia. The Georgia Highway Patrol said the car that the two were in was spotted at an exit off Interstate 85.
Authorities said the boy and his father were being evaluated but that both appeared to be OK and the boy’s mom was heading to Georgia to pick them up.
