FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. — The body of a man with dementia who disappeared last weekend was found on Friday in Fayette County.
Al Novotnak, 80, was reported missing from his home on the morning of Sunday, Dec. 22.
Peachtree City police started their sixth day of searching for Novotnak on Friday and located his body at the reservoir of Lake Kedron.

Police said it appears that Novotnak died due to exposure to cold temperatures on the morning that he wandered from his home.
Investigators are working with the Medical Examiner’s office to determine an accurate timeline and cause of death.
