Police searching for gunmen following shooting at Fayetteville gas station

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Police are investigating a shooting near a very busy part of Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville Police Department said the shooting happened Monday afternoon along Glynn Street North at the Discount Tobacco gas station.

One person was shot. Police said that person took off in their car and crashed a short distance later.

Investigators are searching for a newer-model black convertible BMW, possibly a 6 Series, with black rims.

Police said anyone who has seen the car should call 911 immediately. Officers said the shooters are considered to be armed and dangerous.
