PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Peachtree City Police are offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver who left a bicyclist critically injured.
Police said the crash happened Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m. on Peachtree Parkway.

An investigation revealed the victim was traveling southbound when someone hit him and took off.

Another driver saw him lying in the road and initially thought the crash scene was debris. She got out of the car and found the man with severe face and head injuries.

She and other passersby called 911. The biker was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital where he is being treated for severe head injuries. The victim’s name and current condition have not been released.
