Feds: Georgia man invests part of $3M lottery winnings in crystal meth ring

WAYCROSS, Ga. — A Waycross man could face life in prison after he invested part of his $3 million lottery winnings in a crystal meth ring, federal officials said.

Ronnie Music Jr. 45, purchased meth for resale with lottery winnings he won from a scratch-off ticket.

Investigators determined Music was supplying meth to a group of coconspirators who were caught trying to sell approximately 11 pounds, worth more than $500,000 on the streets.

Music pleaded guilty to federal drug and gun charges and could face life in prison.
