ATLANTA — Would $670 million be a big enough holiday bonus for you with less than two weeks until Christmas? With some luck, you could see hundreds of millions in your bank account before the holidays.
Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is up to $670 million with a cash option of $317.8 million, which is still a pretty good payday.
There have been 26 consecutive drawings since someone won the Mega Millions jackpot on September 10 when the jackpot was $810 million.

You can catch the Mega Millions drawing LIVE just before WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on Channel 2.
In Tuesday’s drawing, no one took home the big money, but three tickets worth $10,000 were sold in Georgia: one in Rome, one in Ellabell and a third online from Valdosta.
In Georgia, winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes. The most recent jackpot winner from Georgia was the $478.2 million Powerball jackpot in October.
The Georgia Lottery Corp. has made significant contributions to the state’s educational programs, returning over $28.3 billion since its inception.

All profits from the lottery support initiatives such as Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and the state’s Pre-K Program.
More than 2.1 million students have benefited from HOPE scholarships, and over 2 million 4-year-olds have participated in the voluntary prekindergarten program statewide.
