On Monday, Ryan posted photos of their son Cal Patrick Ryan along with the couple’s 5-year-old twins Marshall Thomas and John Matthew. Of course, the family had to sport some Atlanta Braves gear for the photo.
“Introducing our 3rd overall pick… Cal Patrick Ryan. Welcome to the team!”
The couple welcomed Cal Patrick Ryan on April 3, according to Sarah Ryan’s Instagram post. She wrote that she and Matt had been trying for years to have another child and decided over the summer to try one more time.
She also thanked the nurses and doctors for guiding her through the high-risk pregnancy.
“Cal Patrick Ryan, you are the definition of being worth the wait. You have two brothers who have been obsessed with you since the day they found out about you, and you are already making a strong case as Dad’s favorite by making sure your arrival didn’t disrupt his Masters weekend.”

Matt and Sarah Ryan met while the two attended Boston College. They married in 2011 and welcomed the twins in 2018.
Ryan is currently a free agent after his career with the Falcons ended with a trade to the Indianapolis Colts, who released him in March.
While he may not be a Falcon anymore, Ryan has said he considers Atlanta his home. Last week, Channel 2 Action News at 4 p.m. showed you how Ryan joined volunteers and students at Dunbar Elementary School for National Volunteer Week.
Ryan, Mercedes-Benz USA and nonprofit Out Teach teamed up to build an experiential, outdoor learning garden for the students.
