Former DeKalb police officer indicted on child molestation charges

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga — Police say Former DeKalb County police officer, Manuel Williams, was indicted on three counts of child molestation.

Last October, Channel 2 learned that the 18-year veteran resigned from the DeKalb County Police Department after being charged with child molestation.

According to police, Williams, 50, allegedly molested a friend of his teenage daughter.

In a document released by the DeKalb County Superior Court, it says Williams kissed a young girl's neck.

Police say Williams is currently out on bond.
