FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A high-speed chase was caught on camera after deputies say the driver of a black mustang refused to pull over for a traffic stop
The chase ended with the car flipped over and nearly plowed into van carrying a father and his kids Sunday.
The incident ended on GA 400 just north of Browns Bridge Road in Forsyth County.

According to this arrest warrant obtained by Channel 2’s Chris Jose, the chase topped speeds of 100 mph.
The black mustang was also headed the wrong way on GA 400, ending with the car flipped over.
Forsyth County deputies and state troopers quickly swarmed the car and eventually arrested two people inside.
Benjamin Johnson captured the tense moment with his cell phone.

“He flew right by me,” Johnson told Jose. “If he put my hand out he would've probably taken it off.
Johnson said his two children were in the back of the car as the scary scene unfolded in front of them.
All of a sudden, Johnson said he heard sirens and saw the flashing lights.
“Just glad my family is safe and I’m glad he didn't hurt anybody because it was reckless,” Johnson told Jose.
Deputies said they used spike strips to blow out one of the mustang's tires.
“The officer pitted him, took him out. Flipped the car,” Johnson said.
The driver, Joshua Bush, has been charged with numerous felonies including reckless driving and attempting to elude police.
His passenger, Michael McElroy, has charged with violating his probation.
Jose learned McElroy was in a deputy-involved shooting more than a decade ago. He served time for knocking down two deputies with his truck.
“I'm glad the cops got him. He definitely needs to be off the street,” Johnson said.
According to an arrest warrant, methamphetamine was also found in the car.
Both men were treated for minor injuries and taken to the Forsyth County Jail.
